Logie had a great time in the pool yesterday! He played with a little blue boat and smiled the entire time. He also had a great tummy time session (well kinda great) we survived it. I call that a good session. All that therapy pooped him out and he slept like an angel for the rest of the morning. We did get to cuddle when he woke up mid day - but then right back to napping after his belly was full.
Logan turned 7 months yesterday!! Today is his name day! Saint Elias. He had a rough morning - had to be put back in the vent after 5.5 hours. He's doing much better now. We will try to take him off the vent again for bath time. Overall he continues to be a happy boy.
Logan continues his 16 hours off the vent everyday. He's doing such a great job! We went to the playground today and sat outside on the patio for about an hour. Felt nice to get some fresh air.
Yesterday was dads 30th birthday! Logan continues to do well on his 16 hours off the vent. These next 2 weeks seem to be going by so slow! We can't wait to get our baby boy home. The house is almost ready. Had to rearrange the living room a little. Take a look
Today is daddy's birthday!! 30 years old! Logan gave dad the best gift ever - he completed his 16 hours off of the vent. Dad even helped with the trach tie changes last night. We had such a good night last night. Today Logan will spend the day with Abuelita so mom can take dad out for his birthday.
A friend of mine asked if I could post videos to the site. Trial - let's see if this works.
https://instagram.com/p/BHnIfoXA9Ne_FKVtkH4a3tAn0wxUdkqw_QJ5Vk0/ So today we were supposed to go see our neurologist. Yeah - no. Canceled. The ambulance refused to transport us. Oh well. Everything happens for a reason. On to a happier note : Logan completed his 15 hours yesterday off the vent. Today we are hitting our goal of 16 hours!!! Once he is comfortable on his 16 hours we will introduce the speaking valve again. Keep it going Logie bear!!!!
Excited to say our baby boy completed 14 hours off of the vent yesterday! Today we are working towards 15 hours! Tomorrow we have an appointment with our neurologist. Let's see what news we get
Thank you everyone for sharing Logan's story. I will continue to share his progress and hopefully we can learn how to diagnose this before it damages someone else's body.
